This year’s Annual Luncheon saw 66 members and guests of the malting industry dine in the beautiful historic surroundings of the Armourers’ Hall in London.  The Chairman commenced proceedings saying Grace.

Again we had a different beer to complement each course of the meal. These were provided by St Austell, Brewdog and Tyne Bank breweries.

On conclusion of an excellent meal the Chairman, Mr Woodley, introduced our guest speaker Guy Smith, National Farmers Union, who gave an interesting and sometimes entertaining speech.

The Chairman thanked Guy Smith for his address and concluded the day’s business stating he looked forward to continuing to work with everyone in the future.

A range of fine Scotch Whiskies were provided by Distiller Maltsters Diageo Scotland Ltd and Highland Distillers Plc
