Overnight accommodation is not provided and delegates are requested to make their own arrangements. The Booking.com show a selection of hotels in and around Bury St Edmunds that are convenient for Boortmalt.
There are a limited number of places available on these courses and bookings will be taken on a first come, first served basis. The Deadline for registration is Members-31st January 2017 after which it will be open to non-members if places are available

This is a one day practical workshop on pest detection involving a range of pest species, recognition, assessment and control in the malting industry. Delegates will use a hand-lens of approximately 10x magnification and a binocular microscope with light. Copies of identification keys are provided. Dead insect samples are provided and used to follow the ID keys. Live mites are also available to recognise and to identify. Delegates are encouraged to bring along examples of live and dead specimens they would like to identify. Certificates of Attendance will be issued subsequently by post.
