RESULTS OF THE MAGB REJECTIONS SURVEY FOR MALTING BARLEY

 

The information supplied covers the crop year from

August 1st 2017 to July 31st 2018

 

6 Member Companies took part in the survey, accounting for 21 sites

 

REJECTIONS

 

Tonnes rejected: 64,501 from an estimated 1.57m tonnes offered

4.1% of the total tonnage of barley presented to the gate was rejected.

This compares to the previous twelve-month period when 4.5% of the total tonnage
of barley presented to the gate was rejected.
