RESULTS OF THE MAGB REJECTIONS SURVEY FOR MALTING BARLEY

 

The information supplied covers the crop year from

August 1st 2016 to July 31st 2017

 

8 Member Companies took part in the survey, accounting for 25 sites

 

REJECTIONS

 

Tonnes rejected: 73,237 from an estimated 1.65m tonnes offered

4.5% of the total tonnage of barley presented to the gate was rejected.

This compares to the previous twelve-month period when 3.8% of the total tonnage
of barley presented to the gate was rejected.
